Mongkon is a traditional headband worn by Muay Thai fighters. It has a spiritual meaning, it is worn by the fighter while entering the ring and during the traditional dance Wai Kru. The Mongkon is believed to provide protection, respect and good luck to the fighter. In Muay Thai it is a connection between the coach, fighter and the tradition of this sport.
