The Fairtex SP5 Shinguards, crafted from Fairtex’s signature Syntek microfiber, deliver advanced durability and flexibility that outperforms traditional synthetic leathers. The Syntek material resists wear, cracking, and moisture, helping the shinguards maintain their shape and performance even through high-volume training. This model is recommended for professional fighters, as well as less experienced sportsmen and complete beginners. It is a reliable choice for Muay Thai, kickboxing or MMA training. 

Protection & Performance

Engineered for both sparring and technical drills of kicks and blocks, the SP5 features double-layer high-impact foam for firm protection without sacrificing comfort. This padding absorbs shock for the wearer while minimizing injury risk to sparring partners. The taller center profile covers more above the shin and below the knee, providing superior coverage for hard sparring sessions.

Unique Features & Secure Fit

Unique features include a stitching-free system between the shin and foot protectors to eliminate pressure points, dual reinforced Velcro straps for a secure custom fit, and double-stitched nylon piping for maximum durability. Strategic reinforcement at high-stress areas ensures long-lasting performance, and the ergonomic, contoured design hugs the leg for stable, comfortable wear. Lightweight yet protective, the SP5 allows full range of motion, with padding extending from the forefoot to above the ankle, held in place by elastic under the instep and behind the ankle.

Comfort & Interior Design

The interior water-resistant polyester lining is stitched directly to the padding to reduce irritation. The design minimizes shifting, even during intense training, and stays comfortable and lightweight for extended use. While the SP5 offers ample protection to the shin, toe, and top of the foot, it does not cover the sides of the foot or ankle.

Care & Maintenance

For best results, clean and air-dry after each use, and avoid leaving the shinguards in closed spaces. Regular use of odor-eliminating spray is recommended. The Syntek exterior resists cracking and flaking, while the foam retains its density over months of heavy use. Proper maintenance helps the SP5 remain a top choice for both gyms and individual athletes, reliably withstanding tough, high-volume training.
